We know that our health is affected by far more than the food that we eat. As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I have trained to view our health holistically, there are 12 areas that affect our personal health: relationships, spirituality, creativity, finance, career , education, health, physical activity, home cooking, home environment, social life and joy. All 12 areas contribute to our overall health and happiness are displayed in the circle of life.
We have known for a long time that factors like diet, physical activity, and our interpersonal relationships have a direct correlation with our overall wellness. But recently, we are starting to realize the impact that life factors like personal finances, spirituality, creativity and home environment have on our physical, emotional and mental health. For example, spiritual practices can help reduce stress, improve quality of life, and increase longevity. Financial stress has been shown to lead to inflammation and may increase the risk of chronic diseases. Creative self-expression has been linked to delayed cognitive decline, and reduced symptoms of depression. Creating a home environment that’s organized and clean can actually help support emotional and physical health.
During the coaching sessions with me, you will also be coached the circle of life and guided to balance these 12 areas if you are out of balance in any area.
