Building small and simple habits, practicing them regularly every day and consistently will bring great benefits.

 

 

I have lived with my own purposes and accomplished most of the important goals in my life.

 

How did I start this journey?

After 15 years working at a multinational company in the field of administration – accounting, I have not interested in works which I had done so far. Then I wanted to find another meaningful and interesting work which can help people in their busy modern life.

Since then, I stopped working and spent time to think about the career which is suitable with my strengths and my passions to invest into my study for my next journey. First, I participated a series of favourite courses in different areas to find a suitable career. After that, I found I am interested in food, nutrition and health and which is also a meaningful career which I desire.

Next, I decided to study 5 courses about food, nutrition, health and chronic diseases of Wageningen university, Netherland. After completing these courses, I felt confident with my career choice and I wanted to study more to deepen my knowledge for this area.

The journey following up my desired career was excited and after spending time to search and I found and joined the Health Coach Training Program of Institute for Integrative Nutrition, New York, U.S., to be an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.

INNER HAPPINESS

Everyone wants to be happy, but happiness also has many different types depending on each person’s perspective and experience. Inner happiness is a feeling of true and lasting happiness, it is created by factors inside you.

In my 20s, I looked for happiness for myself, but that happiness came and went so quickly that it made me feel disappointed.

By the age of 33, I wanted to find true and lasting happiness, so I pursued doing things that made me feel truly and lastingly happy.

At the age of 40, one day I discovered that I have felt inner happiness for a long time, and many times when I did nothing, I still felt truly happy and peaceful, a feeling of inner happiness that radiated from my heart and soul.

How do I achieve this inner happiness?

I choose the life I want to live and I do it.

I do what I want to do, and what I don’t want to do, I don’t do.

I live with my own purposes and accomplish most of the important goals in my life.

I take care of myself and love myself.

I feel fulfilled.

I am grateful for what I have experienced.

I am grateful for what I have.

I live in the present.

I have a strong inner strength.

I walk outside in nature like green park/sea/mountain/river/lake for at least 30 minutes every day except these days I don’t fell well.

I breathe deeply and meditate for about an hour every morning.

I hope everyone will have inner happiness and a peaceful life.

I am sitting on the beach & feeling inner happiness.

 

SEARCH & FIND

After 15 years of working in the administrative – accounting field, I knew from the beginning that they were not my strength, but I still tried to learn and tried my best to do everything. So at the age of 38, I planned to stop working for 5 years with the following goals:

  1. Find my strengths and passions then learn a new career that is more meaningful.
  2. Find my purpose in life.
  3. Find what I came to this world to do.

These three things have urged me to search for answers for the last few years, but I still did not have enough conditions to do it, so it made me think about it for a long time.

So at the age of 38, when I had enough conditions and time, I started doing it. I didn’t want these things to haunt me until the end of my life and then I would regret not doing it. And I knew what I was looking for, I needed a stillness of mind to find it, so I stopped working to earn money to have a stillness of mind and find what I wanted.

Finding my strengths and a new meaningful career: after a long time of contemplation, making decisions and then investing in studying, researching, and practicing to move towards professional activities according to my nature “Doing any job must be methodical and professional”, the current job I am pursuing is completely different from my previous career, but it is completely suitable for my strengths and life criteria. That is the job of coaching customers to achieve their desired health and nutrition goals.

As for finding my purpose in life and what I came to this world to do, I already have the answer. Now, I just do what I need to do, experience life and live in the present.

On that path of searching, I also found precious gifts that God gave me that I did not realize. Before, I thought I was born at the starting point with physical limitations, along with difficulties and challenges in life that I had to try my best to overcome. Thanks to my optimistic, positive spirit, hard work and perseverance in studying every day, as well as my personality of not giving up in the face of difficulties and challenges from childhood to adulthood, so I have had the determination and steady inner strength and achieved almost everything I wanted in this life.

It wasn’t until I was 43, I realized that God has given me many valuable things inside, innate abilities that I hadn’t realized before. It’s true that valuable things are hard to have, we have to spend time and effort searching for them to have them. God treats fair to me.

Now I rethink, I realize that these 5 years were extremely important. They helped me find a meaningful job and find answers to the things I was looking for, along with discovering many valuable things inside myself that if I hadn’t spent time searching for them, I would have wasted these talents that God has given me.

Currently, I use these talents in my Health Coach job, with the desire to help people live healthier and happier in this modern & complicated life.
